While the Wii U might not have been embraced by many gamers, the system boasted a number of solid games, right out of the gate. Now, one of the system’s very first titles will see a much bigger audience when New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe lands on Switch!
Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, the compilation has actually been rumored for the last few weeks or so. The Switch version will, of course, make the adventure portable, while eliminating some of the GamePad-specific multiplayer features. The cartridge will also include New Super Luigi U, a DLC expansion that ramped up the game’s difficulty level while also adding new elements, such as Nabbit as a playable character.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe arrives on Switch January 11.
