PlatinumGames’ The Wonderful 101 was critically acclaimed when it launched on Wii U but sold poorly, seemingly creating a ripe opportunity to reintroduce players to the title this generation on Switch.
After lots of rumors and speculation, it now appears that there is a strong likelihood that Platinum is in fact bringing the game to Switch.
Twitter users are taking note of the fact that in a recent tweet from Platinum, Hideki Kamiya is seated at his desk with a Switch next to him, and the date and time on his computer monitor are both “101”:

Following this tweet, an anonymous 4Chan user claimed there will be an announcement for a port of The Wonderful 101 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and that it will be crowdfunded via Kickstarter. Meanwhile, Nintendo Life has reported that their own source, who wished to remain anonymous, is making the same claim.
Did you play The Wonderful 101 first time around on Wii U? Are you excited about the prospect of a port of the game on Switch?
