Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is receiving a new update and downloadable content next Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The update is set to bring both free and paid content to the game.
Included in the update, there will be a new arcade mode titled Hex and Flex Your Way, which includes a faster paced gameplay style and new and varied challenge runs to change things up. The new mode is included for free as part of the 2.0 update.
For those that want even more varied gameplay, the DLC includes a new playable character, Metalhead, a remote-controlled robot turtle that fans of TMNT might be familiar with. Metalhead is the first completely ranged based character, equipped with a laser blaster and landmines as weapons.This new character is playable alongside the other turtles in the main campaign and the new arcade mode.
As a bonus, the whole game is getting bug fixes and a bunch of slight visual improvements to make it new and shiny again!
One last thing! For the first time, the game is getting a new physical deluxe edition launching alongside the new update and a collector’s edition, available October 24, 2025.
