Nintendo has revealed four brand new Amiibo characters from the Animal Crossing universe. The figures pictured below are Resetti, Blathers, Kicks, and Celeste and are due out in Japan on December 17. Unfortunately, nothing has yet been confirmed for the US or European release for this new wave of Amiibo.
This news comes on the same day that Nintendo made a number of other exciting announcements for the upcoming European and US release of Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival.
First up are the release dates. Wii U owners in the US are blessed with a slightly earlier release date of November 13, a whole week before their European friends get their hands on it on November 20.
True to its name, the game will support a host of new and exclusive Animal Crossing Amiibo figures as well as the new Amiibo cards. Both European and US gamers will also have the option to purchase the impressive looking Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival bundle
The bundle includes the game itself, an Isabelle Amiibo, a Digby Amiibo, and three Amiibo cards.
Coinciding with the game bundle release will be several other Amiibo, one of which is a three pack containing K.K. Slider, Reese, and Cyrus, which you can also purchase separately along with Tom Nook and Mabel. A Lottie Amiibo will be released shortly after on November 22.
