Over the summer, Comcept announced that the release date for Mighty No. 9 had slipped to some point in early 2016. At the time, however, the publisher did not have information on a more specific date. We can now confirm that Keiji Inafune’s highly anticipated spiritual successor to Mega Man will release on February 9.
While fans still have a bit longer to wait for Mighty No. 9, it looks like developer GalaxyTrail’s long awaited Freedom Planet will be headed our way much sooner! Producer Stephen DiDuro has announced on Twitter that the Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired adventure will finally speed on to the Nintendo eShop this Thursday, October 1.
Which of these spiritual successors are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!
