With Switch’s considerable success, more and more developers have been drawn to it, especially indie studios whose unique offerings seem like a perfect fit for the hybrid console. The latest success story comes in the form of NeuroVoider, a twin-stick shooter/action RPG from developer Flying Oak.

One of the men behind the game, Thomas Altenburger, recently took to Twitter to discuss how successful their shift to Switch has been. Though he was unable to provide specific numbers, the developer stated that in the month since the game launched for Switch, NeuroVoider has amassed more sales than the PC version on Steam, where it has been available in one form or another for 18 months. Furthermore, Altenburger expressed that other developers are seeing similar success despite the growing competition on Switch’s eShop.

The last few months have seen the number of weekly releases increase considerably as more and more developers bring their games to the popular system, so it’s good to see that many are still finding considerable success. Chances are, this trend will continue with Stardew Valley having just been released and big name indies like Rime, The Flame and the FloodInside, and Kentucky Route Zero all scheduled for release in the near future.
