Following on the heels of the recent release of SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium, SNK has announced that it’s compiling all six of its Neo Geo Pocket Color Switch (NGPC) ports into the Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection. This collection will include Samurai Showdown! 2, SNK Gals’ Fighters, King of Fighters R-2, Fatal Fury: First Contact, The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny, and SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium.
SNK is proud to announce that a compilation release (including SvC: MotM, in collaboration with Capcom) will be coming to Nintendo Switch!
Please stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!#NeoGeoPocketColor #SNK #CAPCOM #NintendoSwitch

SNK hasn’t provided a release date or said whether the collection will offer all six titles at a price that’s cheaper than buying the games individually (which are priced at $8 each), but did say that more information will be available in the coming weeks. The company claims on its site that “even more amazing titles [are] coming down the line,” which begs the question of whether SNK will release a second compilation should they port another six or so NGPC titles to Switch.
Will you be picking up the Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection?

I love the look of the NGP and its SD fighting games, and had a few of these back when I had an NGP, but this seems so redundant. I hope they can add a little more variety to their NGPC port lineup. Maybe the licensing for Sonic Pocket Adventure and Prince of Zenobia is too complicated, but where are Metal Slug 1st, Biomotor Unitron, Faselei!, or Card Fighters Clash?
