Good news for platforming fans– earlier today, Mighty No. 9 reached its $2.2 million console stretch goal, confirming it for Wii U!
Mighty No. 9 is a crowdfunded side-scrolling action game designed by Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man. The game was announced earlier this month at PAX, and met its initial $900,000 goal within the first 48 hours of its Kickstarter campaign. This latest milestone ensures the game will be released digitally on Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 once it’s completed.
Mighty No. 9 is expected to launch in 2015.
