We’ve all heard stories of how popular the Monster Hunter series is in Japan, but even those seem like an understatement compared to the reception its most recent installment has gotten.
According to Capcom, the latest Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter 4, which was released exclusively for 3DS this past Saturday, has shipped over two million copies in four days. We’ll have to wait until actual sales numbers emerge to give us a better idea of how the title is performing, but given the staggering demand there seems to be for it, it’s safe to say the game is a hit.
Capcom has yet to announce a worldwide release for Monster Hunter 4, but perhaps this early success will convince the publisher to bring it to other regions before long.
