When Nintendo and Namco Bandai announced Pokkén Tournament, fans were a bit confused, to say the least. The game seems like a natural fit for Wii U, but it’s currently only slated to appear in Japanese arcades. While a Wii U version still seems inevitable, Nintendo has announced another game set to debut first as a quarter-muncher: Luigi’s Mansion Arcade!
Like Pokkén Tournament, Luigi’s Mansion Arcade is a collaborative effort between Nintendo and a third party developer, in this case, Capcom. Oddly enough, however, Sega is publishing the title, not Nintendo! It’s a puzzling move overall, but not unprecedented, given Nintendo’s recent collaborations with third party publishers. Still, Sega’s role, besides publishing duties, remains unknown at this time.
Luigi’s Mansion Arcade will be the first title in the series to feature a first person perspective. Professor E. Gadd will return for the game’s tutorial, playing a similar role to what we’ve seen in the previous two games in the franchise. Also returning is Gloomy Mansion, a locale introduced in Dark Moon, though further details remain unknown.

Perhaps this would me a good chance for a cross-buy (WiiU/3ds) game. I would buy it.
I would love to see this as a cross-buy between Wii U and 3DS like decoupage said, but this would also be right at home at my local Dave & Busters next to Mario Kart Arcade GP DX!
