Despite the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles X is set to release in Japan this April, details on the upcoming title still remain fairly slim. That will likely change later this week, as Nintendo has announced a Japanese media event focused on the game. The event’s primary focus will apparently be on the game’s massive open world.
We may not know a whole lot about the game just yet, but a couple of minor details have emerged recently regarding the title. Xenoblade Chronicles X will support the Wii U’s Off-TV play option. Additionally, the game will be able to display the total number of hours played beyond 99 hours and 59 minutes. A bug in the previous Xenoblade Chronicles prevented the title’s more devoted players from seeing just how much time they were logging.
The live-streamed event is scheduled for Friday, February 6 at 10pm JST. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information on the title as it arrives!
