When The Amazing Spider-Man game debuted on Wii U, it included a previously exclusive bonus mode that featured Stan Lee with the abilities of Spider-Man. When LEGO Marvel Super Heroes releases, Stan won’t just retain those abilities, he’ll also have those of several of his other co-creations.
For the few that might be unfamiliar with Stan Lee, Stan co-created some of the biggest characters to appear in comics, and has made a cameo appearance in nearly every Marvel Comics film adaptation to date. In addition to the aforementioned abilities of Spider-Man, the LEGO version of Stan the Man will boast mind-control (like Professor Xavier), telekinesis (Jean Grey), optic blasts (Cyclops), magnetism (Magneto), the ability to super stretch (Mr. Fantastic), the ability to “Hulk out” (like, well, you know), and the ability to hack computers. While Stan didn’t create Wolverine, he’ll also boast the character’s ability to regenerate from an adamantium skeleton, should a powerful enough enemy come along.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes debuts on Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS next month. Stay tuned to Nintendojo where we’ll have more on the game as its release date gets closer.
