Nintendo fans can expect a big 3DS focus, but shouldn’t hold out hope for a Western presentation.

Japanese gamers are set to receive a new Nintendo Direct presentation on August 29, focusing on the 3DS.

No further details have been announced at this stage, but there are a number of upcoming games that will likely be shown. As Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is being released in Japan on September 13, it is safe to assume that it will have a large role in the broadcast.

As the presentation is being broadcast tomorrow, it is unlikely that a European or American Nintendo Direct will be announced in the meantime, but we will be keeping watch just in case.

The broadcast itself airs at 7 am Eastern/4 am Pacific for North American fans and 1 pm European/12 pm UK  time for European viewers, and can be streamed at this link.

Will you still be watching the Japanese broadcast and, if so, what are you hoping will be shown?
