Time for a little good news, bad news. The good news is that DOOM Eternal has finally been given an official release date for Nintendo Switch. While the game launched back in march for the Distinguished Competition, Nintendo fans have been eagerly awaiting word of when it would come to Switch. Well, the day is set as December 8 and you can check out the launch trailer below (adult viewers only, if it pleases ye):

The bad news? The physical version of DOOM Eternal on Switch has been axed in favor of an eShop-only release. An 18 gigabyte download, at that! It stinks, but at least the game is finally coming to Switch owners. There are optional gyro controls in tow, as well, which many a Nintendo enthusiast loves. Will you be clearing some space on your SD card for DOOM Eternal? Tell us in the comments and on social media!
