This week, Best Buy is offering an awesome deal for those looking to pump up their Nintendo 3DS collections. The retail chain has buy one, get one free on Nintendo 3DS games this week. While the offer doesn’t encompass every title in 3DS’s library, it does include some of the system’s most recent first-party releases! The titles included in the offer are the following:
- Bravely Default
- Disney Magical World
- Kirby Triple Deluxe
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
- Mario Golf: World Tour
- Mario Party: Island Tour
- Pokémon X and Y
- Tomodachi Life
- Yoshi’s New Island
The offer is available in stores and online through Saturday, though quantities are likely to be limited. Either way, 3DS owners should certainly consider taking advantage of the promotion. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was voted one of Nintendojo’s “Best Overall Games of 2013,” while more recent titles like Tomodachi Life brought home equally strong reviews from our team.
Do you plan on bolstering your 3DS library this week? As always, let us know in the comments below!

Was looking forward to getting Mario Golf and Yoshi’s New Island. And then found out that this is US only and Best Buy in Canada is only doing buy two games that are both >$35 and you get $10 off one of them.
So eff that.
It’s times like these that I wish I had a 3DS!
The better deal at Best Buy is a $169.99 USD deal for the Mario and Luigi 3DS XL Bundle. A good way to get a 3dsXL.
Weak. In-store pickup only, and unavailable at any location in my state. I would have grabbed Kirby and Yoshi, but apparently can’t have either. Oh well. I still might get Kirby at some point.
I got burned on this, too. My nearby store only had the Pokemon games on Sunday (and they weren’t on the shelf!).
Trying to find Bravely Default, I searched my state and then nearby states before finding one. And, that store didn’t have another game to get with it. Shipping isn’t an option.
Basically, Best Buy sold out nationwide on most of these titles before the sale began. I’ve been in touch with their online customer service, but so far they’ve only shown sympathy, they haven’t offered a raincheck or any other solutions.
