Koei Tecmo’s Zelda spin-off Hyrule Warriors is set to receive a boost to its character roster with the addition of three new potential player avatars. All three come from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, widely considered the series’ most successful installment. Appearing in the game will be Sheik, Princess Zelda’s alter ego; the chief of the Gorons, Darunia; as well as Princess Ruto of the water-dwelling Zoras. While the former two seem to have experience and proficiency in combat, it remains to be seen what kind of gameplay style Princess Ruto will bring to the table.
Hyrule Warriors is a Dynasty Warriors-styled action game which aims to celebrate the Zelda series by showcasing its range of characters and locations in pitched battles using over-the-top moves. It releases for Wii U on September 26.
