The Asure Striker Gunvolt series is one of the best spiritual successors of the Mega Man franchise out there. Developed by Inti Creates, which has helped produce a number of Mega Man games of its own, with the assist of the Blue Bomber’s mastermind Keiji Inafune, Gunvolt has been a blast from day one when it debuted on Nintendo 3DS. The first two games have been ported to Switch since then, and a spin-off dubbed Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX was released just last year. Now, during the BitSummit Gaiden online event, Inti Creates has revealed a third, proper sequel is in the works: Azure Striker Gunvolt 3!
The game is still early in development, but we do know that Inafune is back to help once more and that a new hero, Kirin, will be joining in on the action. Are you looking forward to Gunvolt 3? Tell us in the comments and on social media!
