Attack on Titan 2, which we recently got to go hands-on with, is shaping up to be a very fun game for fans of the series and those who enjoy online multiplayer. While the allure of Attack on Titan 2 is already pretty strong, Koei Tecmo is upping the ante a bit by announcing that there will be a digital Deluxe Edition of the game that can be preordered. Those who elect to give it a purchase will have access to a variety of downloadable costumes that will come out weekly following the launch of the game.
While that’s certainly good news for those getting the Deluxe Edition, those who opt for the standard version won’t be left out in the cold. If fans preorder either version of the title digitally, they’ll also be treated to a special pack of plain clothes costumes for Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Christa, Ymir, Reiner, and Bertholdt. What’s more, anyone who buys either the standard or Deluxe Edition within a month of launch will also receive a download for plain clothes costumes for Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Levi.
In a move that will surely make North American fans envious, in Europe Attack on Titan 2 can be preordered in physical form from a handful of retailers. The stores include ShopTo.net and others, which can be done via Centresoft. Doing so will net fans an exclusive steelbook case that’s adorned with Colossal and Armored (or Armoured for our Euro chums!) Titans as well as characters from the show. That’s a whole lot of AoT2 love to be had for fans no matter where they’re playing the game!
