It’s certainly been a good week for fans of indie games. In addition to the surprise Humble Nindie Bundle (not to mention the addition of a Wii U stretch goal for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s Kickstarter campaign), developer Tic Toc Games has announced that its upcoming Wii U eShop title, Adventures of Pip, will be hitting the service one week early!
Originally slated to launch on June 11, Adventures of Pip will now be arriving next Thursday, June 4. The game follows the eponymous Pip, a single pixel on a journey to rescue the kidnapped princess from the clutches of the Skeleton Queen. During the course of his adventure, Pip gains the ability to absorb enemy pixels, allowing him to transform into a more detailed sprite. Players will need to harness Pip’s powers to evolve (and devolve) in order to solve puzzles and ultimately confront the Skeleton Queen.
Have you been looking forward to Adventures of Pip? Will you be downloading the game when it launches in the eShop next week? Let us know in the comments!
