Nintendo and Levi’s aren’t strangers to collaborating together. Last year, Nintendo turned to the denim giant to put out a limited collection in honor of the Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary, which sold out as lightning fast as everyone expected it to. This year they’re combining forces to pay homage to yet another massive gaming franchise: Pokémon.
Pokémon is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and Levi’s is launching a collection featuring some of the most familiar Pokémon in the series’ history.
In teaser posts to their social media accounts, Levi’s revealed a first look at the collection, with a zoomed-in shot of what appears to be a very bold, very floral denim jacket with various Pokémon interspersed within the design. Not content with a single teaser photo, people online have gone on the hunt for other product photos and dug up images of other upcoming pieces in the collection, including a pair of jeans and a drawstring bag featuring the same pattern as the jacket, as well as a pair of jeans with a Pikachu patch on the front.
COMING SOON.

The designs seem to be focused primarily on first-gen Pokémon, though Togepi is standing in as a second-gen rep on the jacket. As is the case with their other licensed collections, customers can expect to pay a significant sum to wear their favorite Pokémon on their sleeve. Or legs. Or back. Though not yet confirmed, internet sleuths on social media are reporting that the jeans will be listed for $148 a pair.
A release date for the collection hasn’t been provided by Levi’s. Are you interested in adding anything from the Pokémon x Levi’s collection to your wardrobe?
