I’m level 19 in Raid mode and I’m on the chapter entitled “The Queen is dead.” Overall, I am really happy with the Circle Pad Pro control and the game. I don’t look at the CPP as some sort of replacement control device, I categorize it like I would a Guitar Hero controller. You don’t need it but it makes the experience much, much better.
Well I don’t have a 3DS as they are way too expensive still so I can’t comment on all of that… but I really want to play RE:R. I love the name of the show and thinks it’s pretty great so far. Look forward to hearing more guys :D Great job!
Also, I think the Wii is a terrible name and Wii-U is like shoving ice picks in my face. It is going to take a phenomenal game to make me buy that system.
Dang, I totally missed that RE:Revelations bundle… I paid another £15 for mine. Not sure how that compares to $20, but I totally wish I hadn’t paid extra for it!
Yeah, I mentioned that “me and my sweet ass” line in my review… So bad! XD
Hi guys, thank you for reading my comments on the show, i do really think this is the best nintendo related podcast. Ok, about the 3ds success and comi g games for the system, you forgot to mention paper mario and ( i think) animal crosing, those two are important franchises as well and they had not been released. Besides we have yet to see a metroid, zelda, f-zero, pikmin, pokemon and smashbros game for 3ds, so i think the momentum will continue and the 3ds sales are gonna be even better in the coming years.
So, I’m really loving Resident Evil Revelations. I beat it on Casual first for the story, now I’m beating it on Normal but I changed the language to German. Just because. I’ll probably replay it again in Japanese when I play it on Hell mode.
Also, did the whole Terragregia bit seem REALLY 9/11 to any of you? Seriously. A possible false flag operation perpetuated by a terrorist group that causes an American organization to assume all sorts of power and liberties that they shouldn’t. Also, the towers in the cutscene. Really, Capcom? REALLY? Other than that somewhat in bad taste bit early on.. the game was amazing and I loved it. My favorite kind of horror creatures are Lovecraftian. So we have slimy fishy-people zombies and.. just… I loved the VERY Lovecraft enemies in this game.
Hi, you guys! I’ll definitely jump in and throw in my support for Rhythm Heaven Fever. It’s such an absolutely wonderful game; happy to hear Evan’s a fan. I actually did rather enjoy the DS version, although it’s very true that the flick mechanic got in the way sometimes (though the “feeling” of successfully pulling off a flick manouevre was very satisfying). Still, it was a blast to play, despite some not-so-great localization, which at times fell into the realm of so-bad-it’s-good. Luckily, Fever does away with that and treats us to a legitimately excellent localized product. Surprisingly even the lyrics to the songs were very well done; remix 3 comes to mind specifically here, as I continue to find it playing in my head every now and then.
I think it’s a testament to the sheer quality and joyousness of the game that even those levels that I found myself most frustrated with, including the infamous Monkey Watch as well as Air Rally, were some of my favourites. I gladly played them the dozen or more times required in order to nab the medal because they never once stopped being fun.
You guys couldn’t have been more wrong about Pokemon.
