10) Metroid Prime Hunters
Anyone who bought a DS at launch also got to experience a small taste of Metroid Prime Hunters through the “First Hunt” demo, but even that didn’t hold a candle to the finished product.
Up to four players could fight as one of a variety of different hunters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. There were a number of modes to play, too, all the way from team deathmatch to “Prime Hunter,” where a tagged player was only to replenish their energy through further killing, until they were killed and their tag was taken.
Not only that, but until Nintendo announces a new entry, Metroid Prime Hunters also happens to be the only game in the Metroid Prime series so far to feature online play.
