8) F-Zero GX
2003’s F-Zero GX was a SEGA developed masterpiece of high velocity, anti-gravity racing mayhem. GX pushed the limits of the GCN with its high speeds and exotic race tracks. Transitioning GX into HD on Wii U would allow for a number of improvements to the game’s core experience. The addition of online multiplayer and leaderboards should be the first step to modernizing GX. If Nintendo and SEGA really wanted to go the extra mile, however, they could fully integrate GX‘s arcade counterpart, F-Zero AX. AX was an arcade version of the GCN title, featuring different tracks, characters, and connectivity between the two games. While AX content is present on the original GX disc, it would be better to just incorporate it all as part of the experience from the beginning, as opposed to making it unlockable. HD graphics, online features, and the full inclusion of all AX material into one, amazing Wii U game? Yes, please!
