Indie World always brings with it a variety of fun, unique announcements. It only makes sense given this is the indie scene, where creators are able to really try new things, unrestrained by restrictive corporate shackles and bean counters. One such announcement was the laid back and offbeat Outbound, which sees players cruising around in a van just, like, living life, man. Take a look:

Turn an empty camper van into the home of your dreams in this cozy, off-the-grid exploration game. Play solo or in online multiplayer that supports up to four players and craft workstations, gather energy from natural sources, upgrade and customize your vehicle, grow crops and explore a colorful world.
In Outbound there doesn’t seem to be any threats to worry about beyond finding somewhere to park, some wood to chop for a fire, or just getting the perfect view for a nice, long day of doing nothing. You can get to chilling and soaking up vibes starting April 23, 2026 when the game comes to Switch 2. Let us know what you think of Outbound thus far down below and online!
