The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is roaring into theaters on April 3, 2026. We first got wind of the title back during the September Nintendo Direct broadcast, but since then there’s been nary a peep about the film—until now. Today, Nintendo announced via its X account that a special The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Nintendo Direct will air on Thursday, November 12 at 6 AM PST. Here’s the announcement:

According to the post, it seems that we’ll be getting to see the first trailer for the movie during this broadcast, which is exciting. There have been some leaks of what appear to be Yoshi in the movie, which you can check out yourself here, but in the interim we’ll let your imaginations otherwise run wild imagining what the new installment in the plumber’s silver screen series will be like.
