Monolith Soft’s Tetsuya Takahashi recently announced in an interview with Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has sold 1.73 million copies worldwide.
That figure represents the total number of copies sold through March 2019. Takahashi indicated that sales have peaked at that number — the game launched in December 2017 and had sold 1.42 million copies by June 2018, which had then increased to 1.53 million copies by September 2019.
