An upcoming 2D run-and-gun platformer, Umbraclaw focuses on death and rebirth as a core theme. The game is about Kuon, a feline with nine lives confined in the afterlife realm called the Soulplane. Kuon embarks on a journey to escape the depths of hell and reunite with her master.
Directed by Satoru Nishizawa, known for the Blaster Master Zero trilogy, and brought to life by the efforts of Inti Creates, the game is scheduled for release on May 30, 2024 on Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer below!
Experience a transformative twist in gameplay: after multiple defeats, Kuon morphs into a humanoid form, equipped to engage monsters in direct combat. This shift from evading to battling adds a dynamic layer to the game but may cost our protagonist dearly.
