Throughout its lifespan, the Wii U played host to a number of Lego titles. Though the Switch only officially made its debut a couple of weeks ago, it would seem the system will follow in its predecessor’s footsteps, in this regard. Warner Bros. and TT Games previously announced Lego City Undercover will arrive on Switch, and now Lego Worlds has been confirmed, as well.
Lego Worlds will feature an open-world environment where players will be able to build and create their own designs as they attempt to become a Master Builder. The game will feature local multiplayer options as well as online features. So far, the title sounds like it could offer a similar experience to Minecraft.
Lego Worlds is scheduled for release on PS4 and Xbox One February 24. Hopefully the Switch release won’t be far behind.
