New data from NPD has revealed the top ten best-selling horror games of all time in the US.
The top ten list is as follows:
- Resident Evil 5
- Resident Evil 4
- Dying Light
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 7
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil 2 (remake)
- Dead Space 2
- The Evil Within
- Resident Evil
Despite the ever-growing popularity of the genre and the myriad of horror titles that have been released over the decades, it’s interesting that Resident Evil dominates the list almost entirely. RE 2 is still my favorite all these years later, played the original on N64. Fortunately Capcom also did a great job modernizing the game with the remake.
