The Super Mario Bros. Movie Toys Officially Unveiled by Jakks Pacific

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be getting the full movie tie-in treatment when it comes to merchandising. This means a bevy of new toys are on the way, in this case courtesy of Jakks Pacific. Jakks should be familiar to Nintendojo readers (we like to gush about them on occasion), as the company has been producing Super Mario and Nintendo-based toys for years now. For the film, there will be a whole range of toys coming out, and IGN is getting first dibs to preview them to fans. Here’s the first batch:

What has been shown off so far is fairly standard in terms of what to expect: Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad, all of whom will be featured prominently in the movie. The sculpts look very nice, though, closely matching how the characters will appear in the film. Beyond these, it sounds like IGN will be unveiling even more of Jakks wares tomorrow, January 26, so keep it tuned to Nintendojo for more of the lineup.
