Tank Troopers Gets a Release Date in Japan

The latest Nintendo IP finally gets a release date, albeit only in Japan. Tank Troopers, an eShop-only title for 3DS developed by Viten (Steel Diver), is set for Eastern release on December 21. The exact dates for other territories remains unknown, although it was previously reported it would arrive in winter for North America and 2017 for Europe.

Revealed in the September Nintendo Direct, Tank Troopers is a tank combat game involving elaborate vehicle customization. While it features no online play, six-person multiplayer is supported alongside Download Play.
