I think it’s safe to assume that many who read this have probably sunk at least a hundred, if not more, hours into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; and those readers probably know a few others who have done the same! Considering the game was a major hit and sold incredibly well, it only stands to reason that plenty of celebrities have also heard the adventure’s siren song.
Among them is rocker St. Vincent, who recently got introduced to the game while working on a new film project, The Nowhere Inn. She confessed as much in a recent interview with Variety, which you can watch below. They apparently needed some sort of gaming console for a scene, and someone had a Switch with Zelda and from there the rest is history!
“That was my favorite game growing up and I haven’t really gamed since then,” she explained.”But now I’m obsessed with that game in particular. I’ve probably put 300 hours into it.”
Given the Switch’s portable nature and the simple truth that Breath of the Wild is among the most addictive games ever made, it only stands to reason that there are many other entertainers in St. Vincent’s shoes. If you’re traveling from city to city every day, there are few better escapes from the drudgery of the road than the beautiful plains of Hyrule.
