Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct broadcast for Thursday, May 7, this one dedicated to the company’s upcoming Wii U shooter, Splatoon.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 10 AM Eastern/7 AM Pacific Time. Europe will also be receiving its own Nintendo Direct for the game, which will begin at 4 PM CEST.
As usual, details are scarce on what the company plans on discussing during the Direct, but considering that Splatoon is only a few weeks away from launch, Nintendo will likely give a general overview of the game to hype its release. Fans will be able to watch the broadcast at Nintendo’s official website. (Our friends in Europe will be able to stream the broadcast here.)
Splatoon launches in North America and Europe on May 29. We’ll be providing coverage of the game’s Nintendo Direct, but until then, what do you think we’ll see from next week’s broadcast? Let us know in the comments!
