Splatoon 3 is gearing up for some big, exciting changes come December 1. That’s when Chill Season 2022 begins, which will be bringing with it a plethora of new modes, stages and much more. Get a look in this handy trailer:
Here are the highlights:
- Brinewater Springs and Flounder Heights will be added to the stage selection
- X Battle and Big Run modes are coming. Nintendo says X Mode “require players to reach an elite rank in Anarchy Battles and risk X Power to challenge their way up the leaderboards.”
- Three new weapons (a shooter, charger, and roller) will be added
- A batch of ten weapons from previous games will be added
- All new catalog gear inbound which brings with it “custom titles, victory emotes, stickers and more.”
