This time around, players will be able to save their favorite gear combinations to their figures, allowing them to easily take their favorite outfits to another person’s game. Players can also summon and “befriend” their Amiibo, which will periodically gift you with exclusive armor sets. Splatoon 2 will be compatible will all previous Splatoon Amiibo as well, though Nintendo hasn’t detailed their functionality for the title.
Nintendo also revealed a new mode for Splatoon 2 called Salmon Run.
