Earlier this month, Mario Kart World launched alongside the Nintendo Switch 2. Many people were excited for the game’s launch, including one particular voice actor. Kevin Afghani remarked on X recently that he was incredibly happy to see himself represent the roles of Mario, Luigi, Wario and more.
Hearing myself in Mario Kart is truly an unbelievable experience. Mario Kart was an absolute pillar of my childhood. I cannot believe how lucky of a person I am to be able to be a part of games that mean so much to me.
