Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has been available on Switch for some time now, but many fans have been breathlessly awaiting a physical release for the latest game in the franchise. That wait is now at an end, however, as WayForward has announced a May 8 North American release date for the game’s Ultimate Day One Edition!
For the uninitiated, the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition features a copy of the game, the previously released 30 track “Risky Beats” CD soundtrack, and an all-new art book. At 100 pages, the Switch-exclusive art book might just be enough to convince diehard Shantae fans to pick-up this particular version of the game!
