SEGA’s unwavering devition to Nintendo will continue with the launch of Switch 2, apparently. Launch day is June 5, 2025, and several SEGA games have been confirmed as coming to the system. Confirmed are Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, Puyo Puyo Tetris 25, and RAIDOU: Remastered, but there’s another game coming that will thrill fans of the Blue Blur: Sonic X Shadow Generations. SEGA PR has reached out to verify that it will be the fourth game in the company’s quartet of Switch 2 launch day releases.

- Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut: The definitive edition of the critically acclaimed origin story of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series, enhanced for Nintendo Switch 2! This updated release includes new, never-before-seen story cutscenes; a brand-new “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode where you can join forces with friends to take down hordes of enemies; and the addition of English and Chinese VO plus French, Italian, German, and Spanish, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.
- Puyo Puyo Tetris 25: Get ready to Hard Drop onto all the exciting puzzle action in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S! Players can expect a brand-new “Puyo Tetris Doubles” mode where they can compete in 2v2 battles with pairs using a single board to pull off devastating combos; a bounty of local and online modes featuring support for up to 4 players; and a packed roster of 40 playable characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog, each with their own stats and abilities.
- Sonic X Shadow Generations: Play as Shadow in a brand-new story campaign featuring never-before-seen abilities that prove why he’s known as the Ultimate Life Form! Also included is a complete remaster of the highly acclaimed SONIC GENERATIONS™, a time-traveling adventure featuring a greatest-hits collection of 3D and 2D Sonic stages, now with upgraded visuals and new bonus content.
- RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army: A faithful remaster of the beloved supernatural action RPG, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, featuring an overhauled battle system, enhanced graphics, full voiceover added to the main story, and various other quality-of-life enhancements.
