Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is getting closer to its release date on March 13 in North America, so it might be a good idea for Nintendo to start thinking about a way to get more people on board with this fresh new game. Luckily for us, a demo version is currently in the works, according to a poster on NeoGAF. If this information is to be believed, GameStop will have an exclusive deal with Nintendo, distributing special cards with download codes for the demo version.
The cards themselves look pretty legit, and also quite nice, as well. Even after its one-time use, they might continue to live as a neat collectors’ item.
While Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is being made by a well-known developer, Intelligent Systems, it is still an entirely new game which is yet to prove its worth. In this case, releasing a demo version is definitely a good move by Nintendo. Will you try to get your hands on the demo, or are you already sold on the game thanks to content-rich presentations?
