During last week’s Nintendo Direct, the company devoted quite a bit of attention to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. While the 3DS remake and the Majora’s Mask themed New 3DS stole the show, Nintendo also announced an upcoming DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors based on the Nintendo 64 classic. Playable versions of Tingle and Young Link were announced, but Nintendo has now outlined what else we can expect when the DLC pack releases on February 5:
- Playable Tingle and Young Link characters
- Adventure mode map based on Termina
- “Memories of Time” costume set: Ocarina of Time costumes for Impa and Sheik, Skull Kid costume for Lana
The DLC will cost $7.99. Additionally, a new game update will be available the same day. It will offer an increased level cap and new mixing materials, weapon skills and medals.
It’s nice to see that Nintendo continues to support Hyrule Warriors a significant amount of time after its release. With so much additional content released since September, the title has done a nice job of tiding Zelda fans over until The Legend of Zelda for Wii U’s late 2015 release. The fact that this DLC is being released to coincide with the Majora’s Mask remake on 3DS is a nice bonus, as well.
