We reported on a rumor early last month that a deluxe Mario Kart set would be launching later this year. The set, which is alleged to be among LEGO’s Icons lineup, would retail for about $169.99, and would be an oversized, premium build. Well, that rumor has resurfaced, now with an image attached. Take a look:
Brick Built Blogs over on X is asserting that this is the set and that it will boast 1,972 pieces and carry that aforementioned $169.99 MSRP when it launches on May 1, 2025. Both the kart and Mario are separate, large figures that are built independently of one another. If this is legit, and it’s a pretty convincing image if it is a fake, collectors will certainly want to snag this one to build and put on display.
