The rumor mill is ablaze with word that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered might be coming to Nintendo Switch. The news comes from noted Call of Duty leaker RalphsValve, who tweeted recently about the alleged port:
Addressing the confusion, MWR is supposedly coming to Nintendo Switch, it’s first introductory into the Call of Duty franchise for the console.

It has been years since a Call of Duty game came to a Nintendo console. Indeed, the last entry was Call of Duty: Ghosts on Wii U back in 2013. Since then the series has been MIA on Nintendo hardware. However, following the acquisition of Activision by Microsoft a few months back, the company made it known that it would like to see the Call of Duty franchise branch out to other platforms, including Nintendo. If a return is in the works, it’s purely rumor at the moment, but if we learn more we’ll be sure to share it with all of you.
