More info and first screen for Epic Mickey 3DS
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion was just recently announced to be released alongside its home console counterpart, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. It was speculated by many, and has since been confirmed, that the game would follow in the footsteps of the popular Mickey Mouse “Illusion” series for early SEGA systems and the SNES fan favorite, The Magical Quest: Starring Mickey Mouse. Alongside returning to 2D, sprite-based platforming, it has also been confirmed that the game will be borrowing the thinner and paint mechanics (albeit with a few, 3DS-specific changes) from Epic Mickey.

Interestingly, during an interview with studio head Dennis Dyack, it was revealed that the studio is still Nintendo’s “silent partner,” but they are not ready to talk about Eternal Darkness 2 yet… YET! Check out the whole interview in the source below for more tidbits and information!
