Reggie Fils-Aimé, the former President and COO of Nintendo of America, has sounded off on the reveal of Sora from Kingdom Hearts coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Reggie was there at the start of Smash Ultimate’s development and has known its director, Masahiro Sakurai, for many years, so it’s not too surprising that he would have something to say about the final fighter being revealed. Reggie’s comment is succinct but nonetheless warm, as he offered a simple thank you to Sakurai for all of his hard work.

Reggie is all class. Sakurai has struggled through health issues and heaping doses of stress during his time working on Smash Bros., something Reggie has surely seen firsthand. It’s always nice to see Reggie opine about his old friends at Nintendo. As it so happens, he’s also working a book that talks in part about his time with Nintendo, which you can get the details about right here.
