If you have a hankerin’ for a double cheeseburger, fries, and a pack of Pokémon TCG cards, McDonald’s has you covered. As of this writing fans can head to their local McDonald’s and purchase a Happy Meal, which will come in an adorable Pikachu-styled box and contain a single four-card pack of Match Battle cards and a Pokémon coin.

There are 15 cards in total to collect, including Pikachu, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Fuecoco, and others. Here’s a bit more from The Pokémon Company about the digital component that’s included:

The Happy Meal also includes a digital activity that’s accessible through a QR code on the Happy Meal box or at happymeal.com that lets you solve puzzles featuring some of the Pokémon you’ll find on the Pokémon TCG: Match Battle cards. Test yourself to see how quickly you can defeat each challenge.

The meals will be available from now until October 16, 2023. Note to collectors: this particular Happy Meal box seems to be a wee bit different than last year’s, as it has the words Match Battle emblazoned on the side. Unless this writer is wrong (drop a note in the comments!), of course. Regardless, if you want to add the cards, box, and coins to your collection, consider a Mickey D’s trip in the near future.
