The game will drop on October 27. Note that quantities are limited! Here’s what’s inside the physical Hypergun Edition:

ORIGINAL STORY
Ikaruga is a shoot ’em up that many fans might not have heard about prior to its launch on Nintendo Switch at the end of May, but it’s an absolute cult classic. This is due in large part to its unique “double polarity” system where the player can alternate between different forms of energy blasts. Developed by Treasure, Ikaruga has some legendary pedigree and is one of the most beloved shmups from the days of GameCube. There’s no firm release date, but apparently Ikaruga will be getting printed onto a cartridge sometime this year! We’ll let you all know as soon as the release date is revealed, but until then tell us what you think about Ikaruga in the comments.
