It had been rumored for a while now, but Nintendo officially confirmed today during the special The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay broadcast that a brand new model of OLED would be coming to stores. The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition will be launching on April 28. Here’s a nice little look at the console and all that it comes with:
So what does the $359.99 MSRP snag you? You get a Nintendo Switch OLED Model with intricate design work pulled straight from Tears of the Kingdom emblazoned across the back of the console, the Joy-Con, and even the dock, which also has a Hylian crest on the front. It’s a pretty gorgeous design, one that will likely get scalpers in a frenzy to try and snag before legitimate customers. Be sure to get in pre-orders asap where you can, or hope to be one of the first in line at brick and mortar retailers when it launches.
