Nintendo Direct: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Gets Second Epic Trailer

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the hotly anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild launching on Nintendo Switch May 12, 2023. There are expectations and then there are expectations, the latter of which have been heaped upon Tears of the Kingdom. The latest trailer shown off for the recent Nintendo Direct revealed a bunch of new details about the game, so let’s get into them.

The trailer shows Link commanding a hovering platform of some kind that allows him to soar skyward. There’s also a mysterious voiceover throughout that has many wondering exactly who the speaker is (Ganon, perhaps?). What’s more, new enemies are seen as well as Link grinding on a rail. The footage is rife with tantalizing tidbits, dear readers, and leaves us all with many questions.

A Collector’s Edition of Tears of the Kingdom is on the way, as well. Take a look at it:

There will also be a new Link amiibo released for the game, with an MSRP of $15.99
