Nintendo Direct: The Duskbloods is a Nintendo Switch 2 Exclusive by FromSoftware

In an unexpected announcement near the end of today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced a new Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive game coming from FromSoftware titled The Duskbloods.

According to the official website for The Duskbloods, the game will focus on a unique PvPvE action combat system. Players of the game will be able to face off against each other on top of the standard action formula PvE combat many are used to for From Software’s previous titles.

Some powers displayed in the trailer seem to showcase vampire-like abilities. Another thing of note in the trailer is some features that feel inspired by steampunk, such as a jet pack suit and a train. In addition, the trailer showcases a few different player class types with several varied weapon types.

During the direct, The Duskbloods was revealed to be releasing sometime in 2026. More information is expected to be unveiled in From Software’s section of Nintendo’s developer diary series Creator’s Voice from the game’s director, Hidetaka Miyazaki on April 4.
