It’s been 22 years since Kirby Air Ride launched on Nintendo GameCube. It’s since gone on to have something of a cult following, and many a Kirby devotee has wondered if there might ever be a rerelease or, perish forbid, a sequel. Well, it seems Masahiro Sakurai was thinking something similar, as it has been revealed that the director is hard at work on a new installment: Kirby Air Riders. Take a look:
So, what is Kirby Air Riders? Uh your guess is as good as ours! In all seriousness, not much is known about the game other than that it’s likely another racing title. It’s slated to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 this year. When we learn more, so will you.
